Each year since its inception, Dalhousie's Centre for Family Business and Regional Prosperity selects a family to be honoured at its Family Legacy Series Gala Dinner. Featuring an intimate discussion between the Dean of the Faculty of Management and a prominent Canadian business family, this event showcases real-life examples of creativity, knowledge and effort successfully transferred to the next generation, creating a legacy model for family enterprises. Sagewood Group Award for Entrepreneurship [Dalhousie University]

Established in 1987, the Sagewood Award was created to encourage entrepreneurship. This annual award of $2000 is designed to encourage entrepreneurship among Bachelor of Commerce students who have completed at least two full years. Its intent is to fund a business start-up and selection will be based on the assessed viability of the student's proposed business, demonstrated commitment and the ability to execute.

Richard and Constance Glube Fellowship [Dalhousie University]

The Glube Entrepreneurial Fellowship Fund will provide for a fellowship of $2,500 for students wishing to pursue entrepreneurship related activity. The fellowship is available to students entering their third or fourth year of either the Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Management program. Students will be required to undertake an entrepreneurial internship under the direction of the Centre.
