This program prepares students to be able to perform management roles in a First Nation community by providing them with the required knowledge and skills for all management functions. It replaces the former Health Management, First Nation Social Development and First Nation Home & Community Care Management programs. The two-year diploma program requires the student to complete 20 core management courses plus two courses in the program specialization (Community Health, Social Development or Community Wellness) of the student’s choice. All courses are comprised of 40 hours of study in a one-week modular format. This enables students who are currently employed to study while continuing to work.
