"EDOs say the 16 competencies are the ones they believe to be the most common and important to their work. They are the primary areas of knowledge and skills that are needed to do the job well. Although the majority of EDOs involved with developing this process feel capable of doing their jobs, almost all said that there are areas that they need to improve their competence in some areas. They felt that having a more detailed description of the competencies was a big help in thinking about their professional development as well as their job requirements."
This program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become employed in Agricultural Maintenance. Training is aimed at an exposure to a variety of skills, enabling the graduate to successfully carry out the basic functions of a technician. Graduates of this program may be employed with agricultural truck and heavy duty equipment dealers and manufacturers, after-market suppliers, farming enterprises and forestry operations.
Dear members, first and foremost, I hope that each and every one of you is experiencing good health and that you have had an enjoyable summer. I am pleased to announce that I was elected as president of the FNI by acclamation at the FNI's35th Annual General Assembly held on September 18th and 19th in Grand Falls-Windsor. Also elected by acclamation were Mr. Terry Mills as vice president for central Newfoundland region and Chief Kevin Barnes as vice president for western Newfoundland. The youth representative on the FNI board Ms. Kristina Duffy was also elected by acclamation.
Native Council of Prince Edward Island was approved by Skills PEI to recently host a second GED program here at the main office. The program ran for 27 weeks. In order to qualify for future programs, interested applicants must be EI Eligible, at least 18 years of age and have been out of school one full calender year. The Canada Pension Plan Disability Vocational Rehabilitation Program offers vocational counselling, financial support for training, and job search services to recipients of Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Disability Benefits to help them return to work.
"The RBC Aboriginal Training Program in Museum Practices offers professional and technical training for First Nations, Métis and Inuit participants. It is the only program of its kind in Canada. The goal of the Program is to develop ways for Aboriginal Nations across Canada to represent their own history and culture in concert with cultural institutions."
The Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows individuals to withdraw funds from their Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to finance training or education for themselves or their spouse or common-law partner.

Il vise à donner aux étudiants l'opportunité d'acquérir une formation de base en gestion des ressources humaines en couvrant trois domaines ou sphères d'activités : les fonctions, les activités et le service de gestion des ressources humaines, les relations de travail et la santé et sécurité au travail.

Ce programme vise à permettre à l'étudiant d'acquérir des connaissances de base dans le domaine des sciences comptables. Il vise aussi à rendre les étudiants aptes à utiliser les données comptables essentielles à l'administration d'une entreprise et à contribuer à l'élaboration des principaux éléments d'un système d'information comptable.
